FIFA ranking: Nigeria Fall as Argentina and France surpass Brazil

According to the latest FIFA world rankings published on Thursday, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have experienced a significant drop of five positions. The team, which was ranked as the 31st best team in

the world in the December ranking, is now sitting at the 40th position in the April ranking.

 

Despite this drop, the Super Eagles remain one of the top teams in Africa, currently sitting at the 6th position in the continent. Morocco, on the other hand, is now the number one team in Africa and has risen to the 11th position in the world rankings.

 

Following Morocco, the other top teams in Africa are Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, and Nigeria. Meanwhile, Argentina is currently ranked as the best team in the world, followed by France, Brazil, Belgium, England, Netherlands, Croatia, Italy, Portugal, and Spain, which make up the top 10.

 

Other notable teams that made the list from the 11th to 20th positions include Switzerland, USA, Germany, Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, Denmark, Senegal, Japan, and of course, Morocco.
