“What love cannot do does not
exist”. This is the best phrase to describe the fact that “the gods” is now in
love with alluring damsel Favour Alagba whom must have taken him some
mathematical calculations, spiritual algebraic statistics, standard deviation, sine
and cosine rules as well as divine direction and a lot of speaking in tongues
to confidently propose to.
Many did not see this union coming
this soon as they thought that beyond the love for Mathematics, D’gods was not
yet ready to leave the shrine of Mathematics in search of true love which is
the ancestor of the love of Mathematics.
The Pioneer of Champions Tutorials, Simeon Uchechukwu, popularly known as “D’gods” of mathematics due to his mastery of Mathematics attestable by hundreds of secondary and tertiary school graduates groomed by him especially those domiciled in Benin City, has tied the knot.
D’gods in a delightful fancy
setting of creame de’ la creame in the academia as well as reputable clergy men
and women from The Narrow Gate Christian Assembly (NGCA), Benin City and beyond
was wedded by his treasure hunt, Favour Alagba, the first daughter of the
Founder and General Overseer of The Narrow Gate Christian Assembly, Benin City,
Rev. D.N.U Alagba.
D’gods who hails from Eziga Community, Onioha LGA, Ebonyi State, Nigeria, took his marriage vows with Favour who hails from Ihenkwu Isi-ala Oparanadim, Ahiazu-Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria, at NGCA on Saturday June 25, 2022 while the reception held at Youth House, Plot 12D, Akpakpava Road, Benin City.
The reception ground was filled to
the brim by men and women that matter just as the church also recorded an
overflow of felicitators when the couple took their marriage vows. Just as love
and faithfulness meet together, righteousness and peace kiss each other (Psalm
85:10), so did D’gods feed his wife with cake and wine at the reception as he kissed
her at every legal opportunity during the meal after his initial shyness when
he was asked to kiss her in the church.
Indeed, marriage is honourable with
the bed undefiled. If one had forgotten this biblical statement, the wedding
ceremony of the D’gods and minister favour would have reminded one of it as
Rev. Alagba danced heartily just like every true man of God who sets his
children’s ways in the path of righteousness would dance.
The joy of celebration was undeniably present in the wedding ceremony especially among the couple. If 1st Corinthians 13:2 were to be re-written by D’gods, we bet he must have re-written it thus: “If I have the gift of solving all mathematical puzzles and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, if I have faith that can move mountains, but make the mistake of allowing the love favour Alagba exhumes pass me by, then with all my knowledge, I am of all men, worth nothing”.
