The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, in its daily
report noted that Nigeria on Sunday recorded five hundred and fifty-five
confirmed new cases of Coronavirus pandemic.
The health agency on Sunday,
25 July at about 11:00 pm confirmed the new figures on its verified official
account on the microblogging site, Twitter.
Following the development, the total number of confirmed cases
in the country now stands at 40532, while 17,374 people have been discharged
and 858 deaths have been recorded.
According to the NCDC, the
newly reported cases are as follows;
