The Insured Good People (IGP) organization
has pledged support to Governor Godwin Obaseki's measures at containing
Covid-19 in Edo State.
The IGP chairman, Edefe Osagie made this
pledge in a chat with Topflyers Magazine, Friday.
The chairman noted that IGP is a
Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that fights against abuse, molestation and
assault but has pledged support to Obaseki's re-election bid resulting from the
governor's unfathomable disgust for assault, molestation and abuse.
The IGP chairman tagged Covid-19
"an assault against humanity" and reiterated its determination to
support the Edo State government in putting an end to such molestation by
sensitizing Nigerians digitally.
"We cannot allow our governor fight
this molestation of humanity alone.
"We will support him to the end of
the molestation. We will sensitize Nigerians digitally on all social media
platforms, newspapers and magazines.
"We have been sensitizing the
masses since the onset of this pandemic, however, this time around, in
collaboration with the wake-and-see governor, we want to heighten our
sensitization. We want the people to wake up one day and observe that the
wake-and-see governor has ended Covid-19", Osagie said.
The chairman further called on Nigerians
to support the administration of governor Obaseki stating that although the
governor literally single-handedly conquered godfatherism in Edo State, he
needs everyone's support to conquer covid-19.
