Ifunanya Emmanuella Igbobi is a Lagos-based Anambra Indigene. A two time ex-beauty queen and the C.E.O Of Weckx design Intl. She is a B.Sc holder in Sociology from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and has won over 62 awards due to her flair and creativity in the fashion industry. In this fashionable interview with Topflyers Magazine team, she talks about her love for fashion.

How is your business fairing considering where you started and your inspiration for good designs?

I unveiled my fashion brand on the 15^th of October, 2015. I love fashion and always have passion for it. Fashion to me is life. Making my customers happy with typical creative art is what makes it more interesting to me. It was not easy when I started because I was young and ready to face the market system despite the inflation and deflation in the prices of goods and services. Notwithstanding, like I said, fashion to me is life. The glamour it depicts alone is breath-taking.

How long have been into the fashion industry?

 I have been into the fashion industry for over four years and counting.

What are the challenges regarding your business?

We all have challenges but how we handle these challenges is what defines us as entrepreneurs. My major challenge is inflation of goods. Most times, it makes production of clothing difficult for a target market.

Where do you hope to be in the next 5 years?

I hope to be where GOD wants me to be. I hope to be described as a global brand where Africa is just a stepping stone.

What message do you have for your customers?

The message I have for my customers is that they should expect magic from us in 2020. It is a new decade and era and my agenda is to transform fashion into a story line where what you wear defines your confidence and tells who you are on the inside.

How do you relax?

I relax by swimming.

What is your favorite meal and colour(s)?

My favourite colour is black and my favourite Meal is spaghetti and chicken sauce.

What is the one thing you cannot do without to survive this life?

Love. My Love for my family and loved ones.  I cannot do without that.
