*MAKINDE CONSTRUCTS 230 METRES DRAINAGE SYSTEM---- AIDE*

Lagos state House of Assembly Member, LSHA, representing Ifako Ijaye 02, Hon. Tpl. Lanre Rasheed Makinde, have embarked on a construction of 230 metres drainage system on Hassan Makinde street, Abule Egba, Lagos State.

While speaking with journalists who were on assessment tour of the project; Hon. Makinde, through his aide, Babatunde Rufai, said the drainage construction becomes imperative as efforts need to be done to complement the good work of the executive governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode who is doing a lot to make sure Abule Egba, Ojokoro LCDA, becomes an enviable community within and outside Lagos state.

"This 230 metres drainage construction being embarked upon by distinguish honourable Makinde, is to complement the good efforts of the active governor of Lagos state, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.

As you can see the project is nearing completion and by the time this drainage is completed, the Lagos state Public Works Corporation, LSPWC, will be here to lay asphalt on this road so as to make it motorable."

"You know the Abule Egba flyover which is still under construction has made motorists seek alternative routes through our streets. So, making this street motorable will not only reduce traffic congestions being witnessed by motorists on a daily basis, but also to make life easy for residence." Makinde aide concluded.

The drainage when completed will channel water to Agbe and Social club roads respectively.

A residence of the area Mr. Digwo Innocent said "for many years have been residing on this street, no government have ever remembered us on dividends of democracy, but sincerely now, everyone living on this street will always be grateful to honourable Makinde who is doing this drainage system for us and I have been told that he (Makinde) had facilitated the Lagos Public Works so that this road can be tarred after the drainage have been completed, sincerely this is laudable." Digwo said.

Hon. Makinde is also said to be embarking on various constituency projects across the seven wards in Ojokoro LCDA.
